This is a music video for Masha Mirova — a young artist and a songwriter. On this project I was the VFX Art Director and the Collage Designer
The video was filmed in one room and looked boring without any graphics. So I was engaged to the project to create the VFX concept and to develop it through the whole video. I also made all the graphic designs, prepared files for the postpone motion designer`s work and curated the motion design process
This song is about a young girl`s trip to her inner self through the surrounding world of doubts, comparisons and social networks, where everybody is always looking ideal. But our girl decides to be true to herself and to not pretend to be better, brighter and more successful then she is, and let herself bloom just for nothing
So my design concept aims to reflect this idea of changes from doubts to courage to be self-confident. Torn paper graphics appears gradually from the beginning of the video and intensifies in the second third of it, when the girl starts to protest and to destruct her previous world
